I am Marie, a qualified Shiatsu practitioner and teacher. I first trained in Paris with a Japanese teacher. I then successfully completed a three year training course with the Glasgow School of Shiatsu (www.glasgowshiatsu.co.uk) and graduated in 1999.

Since then, I attend regular continual professional development training as well as regularly meeting with my Japanese teacher. I’ve also assisted teachers & students for 3 years at The Shiatsu School Edinburgh (www.tssed.org/ ) finishing in August 2008.

In 2007-2008 I graduated in on-site shiatsu at Glasgow School of Shiatsu.

I am is a Registered Member of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS), the major body representing Shiatsu in the UK. I am the contact point for the Shiatsu Society Cumbria Support Group.

I provide on-site Shiatsu at a wide range of events including school and community fairs .

More enlightened companies also consider shiatsu to look after the well-being of their employees. I have worked with several local businesses, offering lunchtime or after work seated shiatsu.

I also give Shiatsu introductory talks and courses in Carlisle area as well as abroad.
